It pulled a steph curry breh. From broken ankles to mvp season. Watch the premiere and i bet you watch the whole seasonThe Leftovers is good now?
I left that show at the end of last season like

I say yes only to truly get to know the characters. A lot of the story ties in even though new characters and stories come into play as well. S1 was tough to watch week to week. Couldn't imagine binging itDo you have to watch S1 to understand S2? I heard they switched locations?
I binge watched it no problem. It's a great seasonI say yes only to truly get to know the characters. A lot of the story ties in even though new characters and stories come into play as well. S1 was tough to watch week to week. Couldn't imagine binging it

Keeping with the Steph Curry analogy, it would be like last year Steph playing like the MVP all year, spraining his ankles towards the end of the season, and then breaking both of them in the playoffs
The Leftovers this season is more like JR Smith. Sporadic high points ultimately outweighed by the regular abysmal lows. The first season was Dion Waiters status.
The real Walker & Williams were black. They were c00ns but they were paid c00ns making guap off cacs no doubt. I think their reaction was somewhat accurate considering how there really wasn't any alternative for blacks in those day, for many this was the only representation we got, if ever. Times were just different. Like I can understand why a black person would support them even though they were straight up buffoons. What I don't get is black people supporting c00nery in 2015 We got options, we don't got to c00n for biscuits. But, did you notice that in the scene with the minstrel show they do a wide shot of the room and Algenon and Opal are smiling and enjoying it.
I thought that was very interesting as a reflection of the times.
Even when the party was over and they were standing on the steps Opal (who is usually very abrassive about stuff she doesn't like) had nothing whatsoever to say about the minstrel show, and again later when they are in the privacy of Algenon's home and no cacs are around they did not discuss it.
So I think the black characters at the time don't see it the same.
Thats profoundly intersting to me. I wonder if thats an accurate representation of the time or if this is the writers simply taking liberties.
Either way that was strange to see.
I thought Algenon, but especially Opal, was about to flip out when the c00ns came down the stairs.
Well in a fall season where many say Fargo improved over season 1 and The Leftovers made the leap, it feels like even more of a regression
