I LOVED the way they filmed/sequenced that surgery. From thackerys smile and hope to skipping the surgery and showing the aftermath. Most shows would be redundant and show the surgery again. Instead they did in a fresh way and it had an even more powerful effect.



Low key algernon might be my favorite character currently on tv.



Right now I feel its a toss up between this and masters of sex as the two best shows currently airing.

outside of the 2 leads (Owen and Andre whatever) this show is borderline terrible. they carry this shyt, which is often boring as hell. Ambulance guy/Nun have potential. The guy who runs the hospital is awful, and Danny "White Boy" Hoch, aka a poorest man's Michael Rappaport is laughable in the role he's playing. Bono's daughter is not cute enough for me to care about. she ain't bad, but...

I predict that Algernon's vacuum cleaner is the missing ingredient to pump blood fast enough to make that C-section operation finally succeed without killing the baby and the mother.

nope, gotta disagree, and i'll be surprised if that's how they play it out...the problem is the rapid loss of blood, they need to figure out how to slow the bleeding. It doesn't matter if you pump it out fast, it's still loss of blood which is what is leading to the deaths each time.
