Dope first episode, I wasn't annoyed by the chick's acting

Just recognized where the girl reporter was from. She was Epic (the troubled kid Ms Taylor tried to mentor) on Friday Night Lights.
I liked the second episode a lot, though not as much as the pilot.
- Sonya out on these streets treating men like hoes.
- Pretty clear now that the creepy trailer dude who took the prostitute across the border isn't the killer.
- Demian Bichir's wife was someone I was
ing heavy for a decade ago when she was a drug mule in Maria, Full of Grace. I bet if they put a little makeup on her she'll prove that she still got it.
- I'm just waiting for Sonya to go up against the Cartel and see how they react to her not giving any fukks about anything other than solving cases.

cant judge it fully till the seasons over.. i ddint think the first few episodes of the wire were anything mind blowing either (im not saying this is gonna be the next wire either) i like it.. the mexican cop is pretty much the lead character and the girl is more supporting with he asbergers

I liked the 2nd episode and where they took it.
The scene with the Mexican guy looking for the girl kidnapped in the 1st episode and he ends up strangling the neighbor who sees him was well done.
Also liked how they showed how Sonya is dedicated to her job and was able to spot the bead which explains how she might have been able to reach detective even with her condition.
The ratings dropped a lot in the 2nd episode, I hope people keep checking this show out though.

Just think that's too obvious for a show like this.
@ brehs not digging the lead's acting. she's playing her role very well
