That family is so much more interesting after that episode.
I kinda figured Scott was into some shady shyt, one of the earlier episodes they went to the boat, he showed up and exchanged the cooler for some money, so I figured he was involved in drugs.

But the whole family moving weight, and Oscar said their grandparents were even bootleggers.

No Whammies!!
I just realized that there were no "flash forwards" in this episode. Does that mean that neither of them told the cops about this part of the story?

One thing I geniunely love about this show is its always keeping me on my toes.

They keep playing with the structure of episodes. Changing whos story is first, the length, how much the stories intersect etc.

Irs a fun mini game just to spot the differences. Are they lying on purpose or just misremembering? And while im thinking about all that they reveal a coke operation.

From the very first episode till now they keep toying with your expectations of what the show is.

shyt, I would hope not. This dude Noah is lucky he hasn't got caught yet, his head does a whiplash every time he sees Allison and he got his friend blowing up his spot "5 am, you partying without me :troll:." Oscar the Grouch already figured out their little affair. I knew the family was shady, but didn't know that Pacey was moving weight like that :ehh:. He's begging to be caught, if they an offer to sale the ranch for 30 million, but he's talking about being 100K in the hole :mindblown:. With that type of money they could easily start over and set up some new kind of business.

Not gonna lie brehs, Im already bored through episode 3. Bored enough that I kept reading this thread to the current date and got some spoilers.

I just dont really like any character and I dont find the mystery all that intriguing.

May pick it back up....not sure yet.

I caught that hint Pacey was into something like that, during the first episode or second, he is leaving and she says something like 'Be careful', all ominous, and he says 'I always am'. Didn't seem like I'm going to go ride horses at the ranch type of conversation….have to do some research, wonder where Hamptons/Montag would get their product from….probably not by boat though...

Its definitely very character driven, which is the kind of show I prefer like mad men and masters of sex.

I like the characters personally but :yeshrug: if you aint feeling the characters its not like it has a deep plot to keep someone interested.

Well the affair is out in the open and both spouses took it rather well considering. Noah's story definitely made him come across as an a$$hole and his kids are the worst. Allison tells Cole and his solution is to have another baby :mindblown:. Bring another kid into a damaged marriage bruh :skip:

What was Allison thinking going to the wife's business as well.

Noah reading the Vanity Fair article about his father-in-law and going :russ:was a good moment though.

I do wish they had decided to wrap this storyline up in a season though, I'm not sure its compelling enough to stretch it to season 2. We'll see what happens.
