only thing Crawford need to do is limit those big shots he take. I think he can give a lot out people problem with pure boxing skills though. also he keeps that jab pumping at all times...:lolbron:

call me crazy but I think he is somewhat building his brand as an exciting fighter, purposely. the way he fought Prescott was totally different. he was slipping the shyt outta them punches. he didnt take any chances. with the rest of those guys he took chances so he could get the KO. with Gamboa, he had no choice. Gamboa too fast and too skilled...to not get hit by....just cant outbox him so you gotta put the hurt on him. Crawford can fight more defensive and his reflexes are cat-like. Beltran is very good, but Crawford would fight guys like Swift and Matthysse much different because they have too much punching power to just be out there fukkin around wit. Somebody like Mayfield or Emanuel Taylor would be good opponents to start at 140. I think he would handle Vargas rather easily. I'd love to see him fight Peterson. Peterson is a damn good fighter despite his downs and he is always entertaining. If the cold war really is over, then we are in for some great matches because we have a lot of young talented fighters out there with Craw, Swift, Brook, Porter, etc....and I believe Alexander will be back in the mix once he deals with Khan.

Finally got to see it... Great impressive win for Crawford. Would love to see him and Pac go at it.. Very interesting match up right there

As much as Manny (Floyd too) have slipped, they are still a class above everyone else it seems. Bradley and JMM are right there but in another year or so, those guys will be replaced by these young guys coming up.

I want it too:demonic:

The former best 135lber vs the current 135 King at 140.

Adrien Broner vs Terence Crawford:blessed:

#BlackExcellence:ohlawd:
Broner will lose. I'd want him to win but i cant think of ANYTHING he does better than crawford

Broner was better at 135 than Crawford is.

Better power, hand speed, defense.

Destroyed both DeMarco and Rees....and had Miguel Vazquez and Ricky Burns ducking him.

Gamboa was not a legit Lightweight and Beltran isn't comparable to DeMarco at 135 either:manny:

I'll give him this

I like Crawford, but he's usually much larger than his opponents at 135 (he came in last night at 153 after gaining 18 pounds overnight) just like AB was. It's hard to gauge his talents against smaller men like Gamboa in comparison to fighting someone just as big, fast, and powerful which is why I need to see Crawford and Broner fight.

They both dominated at 135, so it's basically like the delayed inevitable fight of the TRUE best 135lbers in the world....Adrien Broner vs Terence Crawford since Crawford took over as soon as AB left.

that wouldve been a tough fight at 135 because as you say...both are big lightweights.

I think Crawford is better based on his style. He is a better boxer and I believe his hands are faster...particularly in combinations. His movement is surely better and when he chooses to use his defense its probably better.

Broner is stronger. Dude has a wide back. Likely is the harder puncher. Better body puncher, his Achilles is he just dont move his hands enough...and that is a deathwish against a fast fighter with a jab. Really, they are close I think. I give Crawford the slight edge right now but I think he is getting much better faster while Broner has kind of stalled.

Wishful thinking, but I'd love to see Swift, Broner, Crawford, all involved in a co-promotional tourney at 140. Do a Floyd vs Manny and let the winner of the tourney face the P4P king. Floyd vs Manny vs the winner of a 4 man tourney.

you like that DeMarco win but to me, I think it was overrated. Valero put DeMarco in a meat grinder. :scust:
No shame in losing to Valero...but DeMarco's best win is Linares....who has been stopped 2 other times in a total of 3 rounds. DeMarco is a good fighter but he is not necessarily better than Beltran.
