Everybody is. Same with Soderling, I'm sure. Both are entertaining players and Delpo my current fav since his French Open semi against Federer. I've been starving to see him play :sadcam:

They had a great contrast in styles but he only caused Nadal (a lot) of problems on hard courts.

I'm so pissed JMPD wrist is shot and that Soderling has mono cause those two were just coming along :mjcry:

Soderling is talented, he's 30 so hopefully he got something left. But Del Potro is my nikka though, one guy I would love to root for after FedGOAT retires. He's only 26, got so much promise :mjcry:

Word. I had no idea where you live :yeshrug:

If I go, Im going early when there are a thousand matches

That all-day, early-round play ticket :blessed:. Always action :win:. Sitting on the outer courts watching seven matches at once :banderas:

I went in 2011 after I had knee surgery and was still on crutches. Every court we went to, we immediately got 1st row seating. People who got there mad early for the seats looking at us like :leostare::dahell::birdman: as security escorts them away while we slide into that first row with the :youngsabo::mjpls::skip:. That included staying for the Monfils night match at one of the main courts. Such good times.

:smugfavre:

Hes got so many records that he's gotta be top 5 :yeshrug:i think he only lost to world #1s in finals too :wow:

saw him play at a legends tournament on har-tru and i thought i was witnessing a god on earth..prompted me to buy his racquet and use it when i was a kid
Top 5 is difficult but I'd have it like this :
1. Roger (off talent and longevity alone (though Connors could have a say in that sector) and obviously 17 slams and a career grand slam)
2. Sampras (a little biased here but 14 slams and GOAT attacking player to me so... + record in seasons ended at #1)
3. Nadal (being the best of the big 4 era (2008/2012) which may be the toughest era ever + Olympics title + career grand slam and 14 slams)
4. Borg (11 slams, 6 French and 5 British and numerous USO finals. Ability to dominate on the two polar opposite surfaces though I don't know why he struggled against Americans at the USO)
5. Laver (calendar grand slams in both amateur and Open era, 11 slams, the kickstarter of the Open Era)

I first put Nadal at 4, Laver at 3 and Borg at 5 but I hadn't factored the competition. Laver didn't really had too much against him imo. Borg and Nadal had crazy competition but I think Nadal faced a harder one at the top and he has more majors and a Olympics title on top of that. Realistically, he should be ranked higher than Sampras at #2 because he's a more complete player than him but let's just say I'm being subjective here :lolbron:
