I'ma be real w/you bruh.....get into tennis fam. It's SOOOO relaxing to watch and it's easy to learn by watching and listening. Got into tennis in 2007 and it's quite honestly my 2nd favorite sport to watch after football even though i'm still a HUGE basketball fan.

Wimbledon is the PERFECT Grand Slam to use to get into tennis.

As far as Andy Murray winning it; he's a favorite. If everything goes according to the draw he'd have to face Federer next Friday and then Djokovic next Sunday

:damn:

Thats like 17-20 years after me :upsetfavre: Thats mainly due to my Mum, who use to go to Wimbledon ever year back in the 80's.

 I always knew tennis growing up as far as the Agassi's, Sampras, and other top stars but didn't watch it with interest until AO 2007 when Fed gave Roddikk that work and Serena did the same to Sharapova in the finals. After that....I didn't get into again until the 2007 Wimbledon men's finals. Wife was at work (this when we first started dating) and her job had AIM on it and I was home AIMing her and flipping channels and stumbled upon Fed vs Nadal and that was THAT. I started appreciating it cause of how LONG that match was cause there was a block party outside and I went to the party and came back to check my AIM and match was STILL going on. Been a tennis fan ever since Funny how I watched the match rooting for Fed, but came away a Nadal fan after the match :manny:

I'd take GREAT pleasure in seeing her lose in Week 1 :russ:

There is no consistency whatsoever with these players sometimes. :salute: Federer for his consistency if nothing else

I'm a sports junkie and have been so, since I was little, when brehs were watchin early morning cartoons I was watching TransWorld Sport :smugdraper: Because I never had cable/satelite as a kid growing up I would watch any and every sport that was on normal tv. I digress the mid-late 90's was pretty shyt entertainment wise for Mens tennis, all the big servers kind of killed the game for me, some of the Wimbledon finals were jsut :scusthov: thank fukk for Agassi and the clay court season made it far more entertaining, then watchin Sampras being robotic and serving 25-30 aces in a match. Since 2000 & beyond Mens tennis has been truly :blessed:

Queens clubs is a 10min walk away from where I live

Also Pat Cash use to live 5 mins down the road from me and a kid i use to play football (proper football :skip: ) was his next door neighbour.
