Ay. He came a LOOONNNG way! Everything from the hair to the tattoos were trash. Tbh, they could've made Sean the new lead. Just age him up, refine and expand his moveset (and fix the frame data on everything). Hell, reanimate a lot of that shyt as well and they would've been straight. The only reason why he was nerfed was because he's supposed to still be learning. He should be raw by now

I mean I've never really liked dudes like blanka, honda etc but its folks who been playing them for 30 years now...they deserve their spot. Its only 8 characters in a game thats gonna end up with 40+

I feel that. Tho I think a few of their precedence shouldn't be held to initial roster spot always. I mean, V also released a few of them in later seasons and I'm all for that with that for the better. Ironically enough, so far, the roster is the only thing that hasn't hit me fully yet and that's part of the reason why, cuz I'm over all these old nikkas, lol (tho Ryu seems better than ever honestly, as does Dee Jay and I'm always good with Cammy being in). Most of the new characters in this are cool, but I'm not fully sold on any of them yet and some I'd probably just never get into due to their playstyles.

Hey, they made Kim one of the better black made characters in fighting games or even gaming in a good minute, especially that of an American black woman. And they spruced up Dee Jay (he still of clown personality tho, but whatever).

Sean would be more than welcome a return by now. He's overdue as is. Capcom would get my full respect tho if they finally made King Cobra official.

Indeed. I said it before, but with Luke's original design, with the tats and build, they should've just made him Polynesian. Hell, considering the current status of The Rock, Jason Momoa & Roman Reigns, I'm surprised they haven't capitolized on making a polynesian character yet. shyt, Luke build damn near looked like the Usos if they were white washed. But Japan gon Japan. They still stuck on wanting to overdeliver on these faux super Saiyan whitebois designs.

I believe they said somewhere that they got consulting for her design, which makes sense and is the proper way to go about it. Now we just need a black male with the same treatment. I say up King Cobra's design to have him have some sort of sophisticated look for his base costume and then have his 2nd costume be an updated version of the hoodie Gi design. I don't think anyone would be mad at that.

I was hoping they would have found a way to make Dee Jay less goofy but they literally just made him a dancing DJ

Yea, but let's be honest. The vanilla version came out at a awkward time. 3D graphics were just coming out. Also the gameplay was kinda wonky in the vanilla version. Look what the end result came out to be. 3rd Strike is like unanimously top 3.

I think 4 helped with people going back to 3rd strike since it brought most of the newcomers back with Ibuki, Makoto, Dudley, Elena, Hugo and the others I forgot.
