I have made close to 5k in the last year selling cards/boxes....These dudes that i have tried to put onto game are just stubborn.

lets be reality nobody would be doing this if theres no money in it...

This is basically the sports stock market. I don't get how dudes will throws hundreds/thousands on a single GAME where anything can happen but won't put money in cards of the best players...players they know will perform.

There's always a premium on pro unis over college/HS stuff. Lotta college cards are because companies lost their pro license (Upper Deck). There's a stigma with that.

Football can still carry a strong price with a college uni because there's more tradition and guys stay longer.

Scam or not, it's where the big money is.

When I got back into this five years ago, Gems didn't carry a premium like this. The cards that were tough to grade would carry one but most Gems would be maybe double what a raw or PSA/BGS 9 was.

I generally agree but I've been conditioned on it because of the premium it carries.

Old BGS labels it doesn't matter because they were a brutal grade back then.

When it comes to Griffeys should be noted theres HALF as many Donruss PSA 10s as UD in existence...So eventually when UDs go up ppl are gonna look at that and it will drive up the Fleers and Donrusses as they have.

Who would have thought 5 years ago a fuggin Donruss Griffey would be selling for 800.00

These cards 20 years ago were worthless.
