And, the Mahomes card went for $1,025..
I'm just going to stick to listing them on fixed market place. The Kyler sold for a less than half of what I bought it for at the time, and that's before getting it graded. Granted, he did not have a good season, but damn.
The same version of the Mahomes card went for $2,100 last March in a Probstein auction on Ebay. Mahomes has an MVP season and it gets half of that?.
Your timing isn’t helping your bids. Kyler just had a major injury and his short term looks bleak. Should have waited til he’s healthy to list it.
I would have personally waited on the Mahomes card until after SB. The downside is pretty limited imo as he’s gonna be a HOFer. Upside is nice esp if he wins next week.
I wanted to free up some additional cash. The Kyler I knew would sell for shyt.
I have a second Mahomes card as well, that I was holding as I wanted to see what the auction would fetch, and sell the other after the Super Bowl.
All cards went for less than I thought they would. I thought the Mahomes would get at least $2,000.
I find cards tend to peak in the lead up to the championship game/series than after unless something extraordinary happens (28-3; Cavs 2016 3-1 comeback). Mahomes already has like five Super Bowls priced in.
Optic has just nosedived in the past few months and I'm not sure why. Maybe because damn near everything is Chrome now it doesn't stand out as much as it once did.
2021-22 Flawless Basketball is scheduled to release on March 8th. I don't think Wembenyama is gonna have a rookie card released during his actual rookie season. Panini is insanely inept. The NBA should pull the license from them early.

production for short-term gain devalued the long-term sustainability, and now (to your point) they’ll be crowding their own market before the arrival of the most hyped incoming player (in the hobby) since zion, who also just happens to be the most hyped prospect since lebron
I think I might drop my fixed market place price on my Lamar Flawless cards to around $10,000 each. I want some extra cash right now to make some plays in the stock and crypto markets. If I sell them for $10,000 each, I'd still be down overall from what I bought them at, but if I can sell them and we see a move up in the market, I think I'd be better off.

A lot of stuff is being sold right now as things have been going down but not much of what I've been looking for. I haven't bought much in the last year.
