Are you saying you don't like the on card autos for those?
Not straight autos unless it's a uniquely designed set. Flawless Finishes and Flawless Now & Then are two great sets. Those kinds of sets along with Notable Nicknames and some of the Noir Spotlight Signatures and Sneaker Spotlights (basketball) are more than just straight autos that have a much better chance to increase in value.
NBA seems to have better checklists for these kinds of cards, especially when it comes to modern players than the NFL. If there was ever a Now & Then of Brady or Mahomes, they'd get scooped up and you'd be lucky to see one a year after that. Same thing with Flawless Finishes. If there was one for Brady for the Falcons comeback...

I wouldn't buy anything at this moment unless it's really rare. If they get bounced by Utah, which they should, his cards will pull back again like everybody's do once their season is over.Thinking we might see an uptick in Ja Morant cards

Yep, one of the Holy Grails in all of cards. Insane how much it jumped in the last six months.
Had to slow down the past week or two. Was spending like a maniac recently.

You can find some Giannis inserts for absolute bargains, imo. There was a PWCC auction a few months ago and a PSA 10 Color Blast went for like $2,500. I didn't bother bidding because I figured it'd go way higher. Meanwhile, Luka goes for more than LeBron.
