House of Mac was okay. Not sure why I was expecting more :francis:

I was actually kind of disappointed with the food I had in Miami

I have been vacationing here in Miami since Tuesday, and I agree. I’m loving the women, the weather, the scenery, the beaches, the city life, and mostly everything else. However, I have also been somewhat disappointed with the food.

My girl and I went to the Arepa Bar in Wynwood (cool neighborhood, btw). The waiter tells us that their burgers are better than their Arepas. So, we get one veggie burger, and one Arepa to split with each other. Both were underwhelming. How do you have Arepa in your name, and make mediocre Arepas? Also, they were playing some cac country music, which really threw us off in a Latino restaurant. We had pizza at some place Dan Marino invested in, and it was also underwhelming. I also had a wrap, and juice at this spot called The Carrot. The wrap was mediocre as hell, but the juice was fire.

Alot of the food I had in Miami was wack. Only the crab shack I went to was good. I went to Coyo and another one named Kush in Winwood and both were super wack. The food has alot of hype and pretty presentation but it falls flat in flavor. How you have so many ingredients and still taste bland? Then I went to 2 Brickell restaurants and one other place for breakfast. They were decent.

Last time I went to NY I got sick :stopitslime:

If I wasn't anti-social and my anxiety wasnt on 10 I'd move there. I listen to a lot of podcasts from NY and the way that they talk about it would make anyone want to move there.

Where do you stay?

Speaking of bad restaurants. One place you should never try is Americans Social.

It is the worst restaurant I ever been to and expensive Hell. The food has no flavor at all.

Nice set up but terrible food

I'm currently in West Palm Beach. Snore city . I was born in Brooklyn and grew up in Crown heights and east new york. I moved to FL when I was 18 because my dad wanted to retire here. I've been unhappy every since. Last week was the first time I've been back to NY in 6 years and I got hit with so much nostalgia. There was just so much stuff to do and I ain't have to drive just got a 1 week unlimited metro card and I was good to go. There was never a day I was in the house past 9am. And I stayed out till late. And I still didn't have time to do what I wanted to do. It was so much fun.

A radio personality from Brooklyn that was originally on 99 Jamz with DJ Khaled and took an opportunity at Hot 97, got cut loose and came back to 103.5 The Beat.
