I went the TMBS live show this past Friday and chopped it up with a guy sitting in front me and my brother. He casually dropped that he worked with Richard Woolf and aside from being a repository for book suggestions that I took down, dude asked us an interesting questions. He wanted to know what we thought of Desus and Mero. I think it'd be dope if he could get on and rock with 'em is all I'm sayin' fam. Also, no surprise that an associate of Woolf would do nothing but drop knowledge for the 15 minutes or so I got to talk to him.
Also for TMBS and MR fans; Sam was there and cool as hell but didn't participate in the show (I think to let Michael shine). Michael Brooks came out and took time to talk to hella people that were there early; he remembered me and my brother from the MR live show and called over Grishcom and Matt Lech to say what's up. Matt remembered us too, I talked to him about my favorite episode of his show Literary Hangover (Mystic Massacre and the Pequot War). And the show itself was fire. For the hard body MR heads, we also met Dissident Peasant aka Jeff from Georgia and he was as hype that we knew him as we were to meet him. Really dope group of people all over.
