The cgi is is god awful... it was distracting throughout the flick....Warner needs to cut a check to ILM or something. The family team up was nice though.

Did they not make a captain marvel joke, or did I miss it?

no “hot takes” but I was impressed watching this from the comfort of my home on my projector...might’ve felt differently if I paid to see it in theaters but no complaints...I was genuinely surprised/pleased...my only WTF moment is the kids entering the lair the first time w/ water guns and shyt...a little bit too cliche for me...young ppl have more damn sense than that...this ain’t the 80s :russ: IF they have the rock as black adam for the next flick...jeezus :wow:

Just finished watching this and it's one of the better superhero movies I've seen, shame they couldn't get Superman to cameo in this as opposed to a stand in for a few seconds...
But great movie overall surprised with the box office though.

The guy playing Shazam was really good, hope to see more of him in DC movies.

Watched it again tonight at a newly renovated old movie theater downtown. Went with my girlfriend, who had never seen it before. She loved it, and I liked it even more the second time around.

Easily one of the best superhero movies ever. Most are disposable one-and-done viewings, but this one has a great message and replay value.

The posters for this made it look cheesy af, but I'm really glad I gave it a chance. One of the best times I've had watching a movie in a really long time. Watched a 23gb internal 4k rip and promptly redownloaded a 50gb bluray copy after it was over.
