They spent a lot of money. I saw all types of props and live events in my city. The type of shyt they used to do pre internet.

Shazam was a cool flick. Id give it a solid 7-7.5 for a kid friendly, comedy, that just so happens to have a superhero in it, but for a straight up superhero flick, its kind of lacking imo.

Got to give a nod to the writing and acting tho. Homie acting like a kid in an adult body was pretty good. The bad guy played his role very well. And, Meagan MFing Good!

Fun movie. But I also kind of expected more. The "Big" stuff worked really well for me, but little else did. The villain was whatever and his "sin demons" were boring as fukk. Why even call them 7 deadly sins if you aren't going to do something with the idea. They were just generic CGI goblins. Which is fine, but not when it's built up as something more.

I definitely worry about the next installment when they can't just fall back on the "Big" shtick.

Great movie. DC finally figuring it out. The kid actors in this were great. Sivan’s was dope. From what we saw at the end, I can’t wait to see what this cast and the director/writers have planned next.
