Movie was dope fam. The third act was really good.
Wasn’t expectingthe Marvel family to show up and thought they would save them for the sequel

Let's not get ahead of ourselves .If this ends up as the best comic book movie of the year
We still got Endgame and Joker in October.
Wow so me and @Vice Queen just saw the movie and man....
It was one of the most refreshing super hero movies I've seen in a long time.
And before I say anymore.
Shazam>>>>>>captain marvel as a movie and it's not even close.
With that said most people dont know much about shazam or the back story.
I highly suggest watching this opening weekend. There's alot of treats in the movie that while aren't spoilers add to the charm of it.
They showed just the right amount in the trailers.
Great movie, I'm really gonna have to give it a 9 out 10

Yeah Shazam is definitely the better "Captain Marvel" film. WB got a hit on their hands. I'm really looking forward to DC movies now. Joker up next and Birds of Prey early next year which will be the first R rated DC film.
Also, another thing that got me in the finale that didn't even hit me as hard when I read the comic:
Freddy being the one given flight. Seeing his crutch fall and his feet leave the ground got me, brehs. You know that shyt had to mean so much to him beyond even just being a superhero fanboy.
Question, can DC even use captain marvel's name in the movie?!?
