I loved this movie. It had the vibe of those 1980s kid adventure flicks where little kids get involved in crazy shenanigans.
Levi was great as Shazam, all of the kid actors worked and Mark Strong is 2 for 2 in successfully translating a comic book villain from the page to the big screen.

I admit, I actually teared up a bit when

he shared his power with the other kids. Something about seeing the genuine joy on all their faces and how it brought Billy's arc home hit me. Probably because as someone with a small family (my mom, my sisters, and I have never been close to our extended family), the concept of found family is big to me.

Also, Megan Goode is still fine.

I saw it today... GOT-DAMN I LOVE THIS MOVIE. This may be going out as one of my favorite comic book movies I seen in a while, behind Black Panther, Logan and Into the Spider-verse.

This movie would of been flawless had it not been from a slow uneasy opening. But from the very minute he became Captain Marvel (which they'll never said his name) all the way to the end was dope AF.
