Russ caused the biggest swing in momentum for the Nuggets. He fouled a (made) three point shot AND got a flagrant that lead to a six point play in the midst of a Clipper comeback.

This lead to a 10-0 run for the Nuggets...

...who won by exactly 10 points.

In OT, the score was TIED. Russ did NOT play in OT, and the Clippers LOST by Ten. Russ literally is not the reason why they lost.

Here's a reason for why he was benched:
To see what Gordon can do with the lineup, aka tinkering. Mann, Powell Russ, AND Hyland barely played AT ALL in 4th or OT.

Lue just wants to figure out optimal lineups and found out Gordon can't do shyt if kawhi can't take advantage of a double team.

The difference is, Ty Lue is smarter than Ham, so it only took him 2 games to bench Russ in the 4th.

In OT, the score was TIED. Russ did NOT play in OT, and the Clippers LOST by Ten. Russ literally is not the reason why they lost.
