I hope he does well.. I like Russ, but as a player I've seen way too much of his negatives to ever want him on my team

They scored 175 but Fox and Monk each scored 40+ against a backcourt which he was a part of.. his flaws in off ball defense came right to the forefront when he lost Monk on last play of regulation, and the offense was made even harder cause of the spacing he lacks.

This thread is crazy lol. It’s only been 1 game that they lost. And the Kings are the perfect team for Russ to look decent against. Their terrible defensively, play at a high pace, and young.

Thought it was goofy to celebrate Brons individual successes when his team was losing every game. So, I'm definitely not going to celebrate a mediocre game from Russ in a loss like it's some kind of achievement. At the end of the day only wins and losses matter; russ, pg, and the russ stan coalition acting as if this was some kind of vindication or validation that the rest of the lakers were the problem is bs.

If you not optimistic then there's nothing russ can do that will sway you, save for winning the chip.

Uh, sure, except for the fact that PG is way better on offense and way better on defense. Also, how many turnovers that over guys had were caused by Russ's defender being able to sag off to help?

I do think with Russ pushing the pace, kawhi is gonna be even more dangerous. He can just focus on scoring and defense. Same with PG.

If they can put up another 140 on Denver then they will have #1 offense in the league.

Remember, without AD and with no shooting, and no size, the Lakers went from like 30th in scoring to 6th. A lot of which was due to the play of Westbrook.
