A lotHow much does psvr cost?
RE 7 in PSVR is incredible. I played about 80% of the game in psvr and only played the last chapter on tv. PSVR makes the game experience entirely different and the game controls much better in psvr than on controller. Motion sickness just like with any other vr game is a factor that will vary person to person but they did a good job giving players a bunch of options to minimize any sickness you might feel. I can't stress enough how incredible RE7 is in VR though. Is this shyt worth it or is this gonna be a fad/gimmick like I thought it would be?
I have RE7, already beat it but I wanna experience this shyt again in VR, for real.
That's Kinects problem, PSVR's problem is its brand new and it ain't got shyt. At least Kinect had a ton of titles over the yearsRE 7 in PSVR is incredible. As far as VR in general I was listening to Gary Vaynerchuk's podcast and he said what I've been saying about the technology for years only he said it better " The technology is there but the consumer behavior isn't. In 20 years VR will completely change the game". I think that's 100% true. I was one of the biggest critics of vr when it was announced and I still think my criticisms are valid. People want the simplest/easiest experience. Although putting on the headset takes 2 seconds, it's still one more step than just picking up a controller. The bigger problem is what I've said a million times on here. I don't believe (and so far it hasn't) psvr will get any long term support. Without meaningful games to experience on it it's hard to justify the purchase. I use it a lot. At least 3 times a week, but I can't say I reccomend anyone to go out and pay $500 for the bundle. There are good psvr games. Some are amazing, but there are way better "regular" games out there and until vr in general builds up a library of games that can compete with regular ones it just isn't worth it at the moment. Not at the current price.
Long story less long: if you have the money to throw away get it. You'll like it and I can reccomend some great games. If you have better things you need to do with $500 don't bother. You'll likely have buyers remorse. I love my psvr but I see the downside of it clearly and it isn't psvr's fault. The consumer behavior hasn't caught up to it yet and the software support isn't where it needs to be.
