PSVR Exclusive Shooter Farpoint Release Date Updated on PlayStation Store
There’s no official word on a release date for the PSVR exclusive first-person shooter, Farpoint, though we’ve got a pretty good idea as to when it’ll release, thanks to the North American PlayStation Store.
The PlayStation Store has updated the listed released date from 31.12.2017 (an obvious placeholder) to a more specific May 16th, 2017. Of course there is every chance that this is just an error by whoever is in charge of updating store pages, but May 16th isn’t impossible. New games typically release on a Tuesday in North America and Europe (when the PlayStation Store updates) and May 16th just so happens to be a Tuesday.
While there’s no official word just yet, it’s worth noting that an update on the PlayStation Store is a little more reliable than a third-party retailer updating its listing. We imagine that Sony will come out and announce a release date within the next few days.

What RE7? I been posting my live streams in the RE7 thread. It's incredible. At first I was getting motion sickness about 35 minutes in but now it seems like my brain has gotten used to the movement and I have very little trouble playing. In VR the game is incredible. There's nothing like it. And the game itself is a blast to play. Right now I give it a 9/10. 1 point off because so far the encounters have been easy. But this is definitely the game that I feel it's worth it to buy PSVR.
I'm a p*ssy when it comes to VR horror. Hell I was noping the fukk out even playing the TV demo I might fukk around and catch a heart attack playing this shyt in VR. I might need to just hold my Yukiko Amagi pillow while playing
Actually I don't think it's as scary as people make it out to be because the enemy encounters are spaced out and are easy. Also, if you pay attention you can tell when something is going to happen soon. Auto saves, ammo, healing items, typically lead up to a brief fight. Not to say the game isn't scary, just that it can be LESS scary if you pay attention to the little cues. Still an incredibly immersive experience. Try it out. All the amazing talking points aside, they really did make a very fun game.

Tim Schafer and Double Fine are bringing Psychonauts to the PSVR this February in Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin – a puzzle title that takes place after the events of the first game.
The title comes out on February 21, when players get to use Raz's powers, from telekinesis to clairvoyance and pyrokinesis, to save his friends from the titular part of the ocean.
The studio is also working on Psychonauts 2, which is currently scheduled to come out in 2018.
