What's some good games currently out or dropping this month/next to cop on here.

Anyone check out Robinson: The Journey?
Games I own and like a lot:
Drive Club VR
Eve Valkyrie
Batman (More VR experience than game)
Until Dawn Rush of Blood (Shooting game on rails)
Keep talking and nobody explodes (Great local party game. Not a solo game)
Trackmania Turbo
Playstation VR Worlds (Dope little collection of different experience type games)

Coming out:
Resident Evil 7
Gran Turismo
Ace Combat
Tekken 7

I haven't played Robinson The Journey yet. Did you just buy PSVR?
Your experience with each game will vary depending on how prone you are to motion sickness.

Nah, I bought it days before black friday, but after that week, barely played it. Mostly because of when I re hooked up my entire system in effort to clean up my wiring (massive fail:mjcry:) and the whole unplug/replug shenanigans for VR (which I knew of before purchase tho), I just didn't feel like the hassle of hooking it all in for a minute, plus not actually owning any VR games outside of the demo disc and worlds that came with it. I played a few joints on the demo. Dope, albeit very limiting experiences. For the most part, no motion sickness, however, I did notice that like a 1/2 hour often playing that one game Rez or something, I felt a bit nauseous.:sadcam: Wasn't sure if it was the game or unrelated matters, but I think it's a good chance it was the game, despite not really feeling too disorientated.

There's some strong games on there already. The nausea is really hit and miss with each game. I've played a game for hours on end back to back for days with no problem, then go back to it one day and get really sick within 15 minutes. It's weird. I wish there was a way to know exactly what triggers it and how to avoid it.
When VR is good, it's great. They just need to work on putting out longer games.
If I had to show off VR to a friend to convince them to buy it I would have them play the VR level of Star Wars battlefront, Drive Club VR, Eve Valkyrie, Until Dawn, and The London Heist on PS VR Worlds.
If you haven't tried the Hulu app with PSVR check it out. It's cool.

I believe I tried out the hulu app with it. I actually owned Bound before I got PSVR, so I have that one already, but it seems to be more difficult to play in VR. Just really confusing at times. I tried out Eve Valkryie, Thumper (probably the one I had most fun with so far) and a few others that are on teh demo. The wife tried out some horror game on there. Was freaking her the fukk out, which was hilarious.

The lack of a checkpoint in Rez Infinite is seriously annoying. I got to Area 4 and then died a the boss and the shyt puts me back to the beginning. I put the game off for like a month, come back and the same shyt happens. :beli: shyt just ruined my mood. Makes me not even want to play it anymore.

PS4 and Xbox One to Receive Third-Party Universal VR Headset
On Dec 16, 2016, by Chris Mawson
MVR-Ascend-H1.jpg

The PS4 and Xbox One are set to receive a third-party virtual reality headset that makes use of each console’s remote play feature in order to output existing games in VR.

In a press release, British startup MVR announced that it is targeting a summer 2017 release for the Ascend H1, despite an unsuccessful Kickstarter campaign that ended last month well short of its £150,000 goal.

In many ways, the Ascend works in a similar way to Samsung’s Gear VR, in that players plug in either their Android smartphone (for PS4 only) or proprietary Ascend S1 screen (PS4 and Xbox One), which acts as the headset’s processor and display unit.

Users must then either use Sony’s Remote Play app, or Microsoft’s Windows 10 game streaming service, in order to output their games on their headset’s screen. The unit is similarly compatible with PC titles, by installing a free screen mirroring app on the device being used as a display.

The Ascend H1 comes packaged with either a PS4 or Xbox One-style controller, which is used for all player movement, while a sensor on the back of the headset is mapped to the current game’s camera control input in order to provide head tracking.

The H1’s controllers also have a game-select screen, which features an optimised sensor profile for a large number of preset titles, while they also have an ‘aim down sights’ function, which allows users to temporarily disable head tracking at the press of a button.

The MVR Ascend H1 will be available for an estimated retail price of £199 – placing it as a significantly cheaper option than the likes of the PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. It remains to be seen the extent to which lag will impact upon its ability to effectively play PS4 and Xbox One games, however.

Fruit Ninja VR Now Available for PlayStation VR
On Dec 20, 2016, by Chris Mawson
screenshot-6-1024x576.jpg

Fruit Ninja VR is now available to purchase via the PlayStation Store for PSVR, confirming our earlier report regarding the title’s release.

Developed by Australian studio Halfbrick, Fruit Ninja started out as a hit mobile game in 2010, before making the leap to consoles and PC over the proceeding few years.

The title is an action-arcade game with a simple premise: users must slice various items of fruit with a blade as fast and as gracefully as possible.

As of 2012, the original iPhone version of the game had received over 300 million downloads. Its VR version has been available for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift via Steam Early Access since July of this year.

The irony a guy named "fat boy" is too lazy to get up and plug 2 cables.
