no, its the experience that VR actually wants to be
and i guarantee you will be on here hyping up whatever device can provide the most realistic experience.
VR shines when it takes you places, or puts you in situations you couldn't otherwise go.
I'm not hyping anything up. You're doing what a lot people tend to do when they have their minds made up about something.
You're hearing what you want to hear.
I've said the same thing over and over on here. I've mentioned the pros and cons of PSVR multiple times. I've even been up front and said I can't really say whether or not it's worth $400 or if I can consider it a "must have". It's still too early, and more importantly, it's a Sony peripheral, and I don't have faith in them at all with it comes to their peripherals.
Even Microsoft knew that to sell Kinect you had to push it as something necessary and not a hobby option. That's why we saw so much advertising and the birth of the slogan "Better with kinect". Games weren't "Compatible with Kinect", the plan was to market it as "BETTER".
I don't get the sense that Sony is committed to PSVR. Making Ratchet and Clank VR compatible would be a very strong move for PSVR. Sony needs something to prove VR is here to stay and not just a cute experience once and they trash the next day. But everything in my experience tells me PSVR will be collecting dust early 2017. (Even though I hope I'm completely wrong)
