I left the crib with cod pre loading.

I come back and my shyt is off so i.turn it back on and now nothing that involves psn will load.

No.friends I can't even look at my account info.





*edit I reinstall 2.0 and rebuild my os and it was just psn maintenance

they should send a mass message to all users when they are doing maintenance. Don't know why they don't.

The rest mode issue is arising for some users who report they aren't closing their applications before placing the PS4 into Rest Mode.
Puling the plug isn't something you should be doing.
You're putting your data at risk of being corrupted. Instead, there's a method to getting the PS4 back on.
I'll copy & paste it for the guys who are having an issue with it.

First of all, do not unplug the PS4 when it is pulsating orange. It may not mess up your system, but then again, it may. Just keep holding the power button down (for me it took about 10-15 seconds), and you should eventually hear a beep and your PS4 will shut down. After this, you can start your PS4 again, but will need to go through fsck (HDD integrity check).

Essentially, you're rebooting the console in Safe Mode.
It'll fix itself from there, but it's not guaranteed you won't run into the Rest Mode issue later.
Nothing is guaranteed until Sony officially patches it.
You may need to hold the power button down for up to 60 seconds for it to shut off.
Not sure how Sony didn't catch this before release.

After the update, make sure yall go into the PSN settings and verify your e-mail address. That might solve some of the Rest Mode issues.
