I think a6000 is a great beginner camera. Might be “last year’s model” but it’s still a beast. Best of all, The e-mount is compatible across the APS-C and FF bodies. Which is a giant plus.gonna buy my first digital camera. im thinking the Sony a6000. any other cameras around that price range y'all would recommend?
mostly gonna be shooting at festivals/concerts, raves, a lot of low light events maybe some outdoor stuff in the city with friends.
I have two different lowepro bags that I could imagine would be easy to use for your situation.I'm looking for a new backpack that can also double as a diaper bag when I'm out with my son.
You guys have an recommendedations.
nice. Which models?I have two different lowepro bags that I could imagine would be easy to use for your situation.
No, it shouldn't take that long. Only reasons I can think of is if dude has a shytload of clients and is always going through editing images and covering photoshoots/events... the other reason? Dude is either lazy as fukk or just doesn't feel like doing the shyt.I hope this is okay to ask here. Does it usually take this long to get photos done?
Timeline:
May 4th: Meet-up and take photos. He says it will be a week or two before he sends the images
May 19th: Sent follow-up email. His equipment got stolen but he'll have the link ready today after work.
May 20th: Link not ready
May 29th: Ask for an update
June 1st: Says he'll have them ready on Monday for sure
June 3rd: Sends the link around 6ish. I get to pick 12 images I like. Sent reply around 8:30ish
June 12: Send an email asking when edited pics will be ready.
Still waiting on a reply.
I'm not trying to bother the dude but I'd really like my pictures. I totally understand setbacks happen especially since his equipment was stolen but give me updates? Is it common for it to take this long to receive professional photos?

Also... I hate when people give an excuse like that.
What equipment was stolen? His laptop? His camera with the SD card inside of it? idk
Sounds like something someone would say who's trying to buy some time.
I've turned around much more work in far less time than that.
