and my lighting set up is generally different for every shoot. sometimes I use light modifiers, sometimes I barebulb. I been bare bulbing a LOT lately tbh. And I'm loving the results.

i doubt it, you wouldnt have such thin a depth of field, at f8 everything would be in focus. This looks like f2.8 or lower

Nah, I've been experimenting with some shots where I want to capture more motion/motion blur, so I just set the cam to a slow shutter (like 1/8 of sec) and pushed my aperture to compensate for the exposure.

I need to cop some filters tho, especially for video work on sunny days.
