london is amazig thanks as well for your recommendations previously
they had the apple quicktake one of the first digital cameras
but I doubt they come back unless they buy canon, nikon, hasselblad etc.the market is so small

Been second guessing my plan to buy a Canon 5D mk IV.
My company mainly shoots video but I want something that can shoot great portraits. We have 2 GH5 and love them, but they're lacking a bit on the stills front.
Lately I've been thinking that going with the Sony A7Riii would be the smarter move.
The Sony has a better sensor than the 5D, and kills the 5D when it comes to video.
I didn't realize that on the 5D, the video is cropped, which to me, is a bit of step backwards when I'm looking for a full frame camera that can shoot great stills and not be cropped for video which is what we'll be using it for mostly.

Just get a 5d mark iii
The only reason why the iv would be a better buy is if you are shooting vids in 4K but your not

Every single video I shoot is in 4K. The mk4 is no where near as capable as the GH5 I already have. I need something that can go toe to toe with the GH5 or better and also be able to take great pictures.
Oh thought you just needed stills my bad
Anyone here recommend a good c-stand from Amazon? Hopefully under $125.
