The Sony equivalent to the 50, 24-70 and 35 is cheaper that what Nikon is offering.
By the time Nikon offers a wide range of glass, Sony would’ve dropped the price.

But then again, the adapter is native and IBIS. The Z6 looks beast though. :whoo:
Yeah.. dumbass decision, but i need an upgrade from my camera like yesterday.
And those Sony lenses are retardedly expensive.

the comlite nikon to sony adapter is also suppposed to work very well. I'm bout 95% sure i'm bout to switch to complete fuji. dual card slots is a must.i gotta go play with an a7iii one more time before i finalize this decision.

I don't think that single card slot is a big deal, because this is like their first entry into the mirrorless full frame game. These cameras aren't meant to be for pros because no pro is going to go out banking on these right now. This is just to get people foot in the door. They'll probably add dual card slots on whatever pro-mirrorless body they crank out in like a year. They don't even have a lens lineup for it to be a pro option. But yeah these cameras look decent. Glad they got that z6 price down near the a73 just for competition. If the adapter for old Nikon lens is good then that might be a the deciding factor for me, when I switch. And hopefully it has focus-peaking and high speed sync capabilities.
Nice little day though. Going to be dope seeing reviews. Can't wait to see the Sony youtubers reactions and shade. Mainly people like Manny Ortiz and Jason Lanier. :mjlol:

it has focus peakin and HSS.

If i catch one for 500 off, cuz some rich young CAC copped one then realized they dont like photography. i might cop it on some back up body shyt. I dig the look of it. might go to the camera store tomorrow and mess with one.
I am shook off of card failures tho :lupe:

You just know the Z7D and Z6D are gonna come out a year later and just be fukking perfect. dual cards, eye focus, all that.

But i need a new camera NOW. and i have too much invested in Nikon to switch.

The only DSLR worth buying in 2018 is the D850. All the big manufacturers are gonna be pushing mirrorless moving forward.. So buying a D850 in 2018 feels like its not future proof.

I dont know what the fukk to do :wow: :sadcam:

I damn well know they left out key features on purpose to fukk people like me over and to sell the second gen versions.

I like it, I've used it for portraits and fast action shots. With great lighting it shines. I'll have to dig up some shots I took with it and post up.

Your other post with the Canon lenses, Tamron and Sigma will have equivalents that are half the cost of Canon or more.

The Canon 50mm f/1.8 is a great lens for the money, it is tack sharp, drawback is its plastic and noisy focus motor. The f/1.4 is metal, better construction, little higher price, USM makes it quiet and fast focus, price is about $300 vs the $90-$100 for the 1.8.
I thought my camera was messing up. :pachaha: I just took some pictures for a friend at a bridal shower and really used the 50mm for the first time indoors. The pictures came out nice but the focusing was definitely kinda noisy.

I know this post is old but do you have any suggestions for the Tamron or Sigma lenses?

For the 50mm or 70-200mm?

Y'all prefer the flash just sitting in the shoe or are y'all extra and use a flash bracket?
