Yup they been plugging with the free version since Davinci 12, if you choose to upgrade to DaVinci studio it unlocks exporting in cinema 4k or higher and editing raw metadata along with all the timeline editing plugins and etc. Very powerful tool with very few setbacks in the free version, if you're debating getting into video editing and are choosing between paying monthly for adobe cc and this, I'd definitely choose Resolve.
Also it's the industry standard color grading package, if you're familiar with grading raw images in photoshop then it's a breeze. Their curves tool is

I'm definitely onboard. I messed with Sony Vegas and ULead in the past, Davinci telling me I need to upgrade my graphics cards, gotta hit up NewEgg or MicroCenter next week.

it doesnt have dual card slots
i've had one card fail on me before, while the 2nd slot had the back ups. hard for me to get jiggy with them not puttin in duals.
