Yea, I have the 17-55mm f/2.8 USM, absolutely love it!

Any recommendations for s good travel tripod? I’ll be shooting non-people so don’t need it to definitely be tall

I recommend one of these MeFoto Roadtrips, I have one, it folds up pretty compact, made out of aluminum. I bought it from B&H, its been great.

Thank you! Usually my indoor shots are the same settings with the strobes unless I'm going for something different. These were ISO 100 and aperture was between f/8.0 and f/11. A strobe on either side close to 45 degrees each from her.

Oh by the way for people with that Yongnuo 35... I heard they ship them with removable stickers on the front and rear elements that make them soft. See if yours has one. They're still not great wide open but they're usable

I'm trying to choose between two 35 1.4s... doing a lot of testing while I'm gone with wifey and the baby. Might link to my review on DPReview
