Still, once you're there it's nice to have the right gear. A few years back I went to Europe and the longest lens I had was a 50mm for full frame... shyt was infuriating
Travel is great trial by fire for choosing and learning to use your gearOh by the way for people with that Yongnuo 35... I heard they ship them with removable stickers on the front and rear elements that make them soft. See if yours has one. They're still not great wide open but they're usable

I removed it still 
But there 50 1.8 is just as good as the canon, and their flashes and triggers are great
I'm just going to stick with it though can't justify spending 500 plus cdn on the canon one at the moment
