Is the A7ii still got heat?

I just kopped the Sony 55mm 1.8 Zeiss lens, and I am not sure about body. I know lenses > body, and I don't want to pay too much for an A7Rii (around £2500) so the next step down from Sony was the A7ii (£1100).

The camera is about 3 years old now, and I know they will announce a new joint this year, but I go to Africa in October then Japan in March and I really wanted to have a camera before either trips.

Renting an A7Rii for Africa is around £230, which could be put towards actually buying a camera. But I am weary about the A7 range with the poor battery life and lack of touch screen.

Really not sure what to do :jbhmm:

a7ii is still a good ass camera, i actually like it more than the a7rii. then rii files are huge cuz of the OD resolution.

all mirrorless cameras have shytty battery life, thats just the nature of them until they make bigger bodies to accommodate bigger batteries or battery tech gets better.

the a7iii will prolly drop at end of the year, but you'll be good with the a7ii pleighboi

Save the money and buy good lens... reason why i refuse to fukk with sony i cuz their lenses cost too god damn much :damn:, and third party lenses/adapted lenses cant make full use of their auto focus system.

They've supposedly improved battery life with the A9. It's a bigger battery and the guys that use it haven't been shytting on that aspect of the camera

true. the a9 is bigger and heavier than the earlier a cameras. the battery life thing was never that big of a deal tho.

houston.
Is it better to shoot in manual, and do y'all have any tips shooting in manual
manual is pretty easy to learn once you understand the exposure triangle (aperture, shutter speed, ISO). Like what @8WON6 said, it depends what you're shooting. Typically when I shoot in Manual mode, i set the ISO to Auto so I won't have to worry about adjusting it. I would only adjust the aperture and shutter speed.

one mode isn't better than the others, its just whatever you're comfortable shooting with.

How you pull off this reflective style/look with the lights and windows in these images breh?
:feedme:
my cellphone screen :russ:

next time you out, but the black screen up next to the lens, and move that bytch around. does all kind of reflective shyt. u can use old CD's too. Where you choose to shoot will have impact on how shyt looks. I got a bunch of these jawns printed in a photo journal
