ok, I need some help. I'm about to buy a camera that takes pics like

pretty much, Im trying to take pictures as if they were taken in the 80's/90's. Using Lightroom can change that or is it the camera?

You can either shoot with film or edit your photos like that with post processing

jamel shabazz shoots with a canon ae1... and the first pic is his so you might can do it. but you need to find what film was being used and how they were processed. either of those SLR's will work, just need the right film. It might be easier shooting digital, but you'd need to learn how to edit photos in light room to your taste, to emulate that film look.

if you havent already, find vsco film presets. than can provide a good base for film-like looks

edit: @8WON6 there's another docu called "everybody street" online that has jamel on there, but they only chop wit him for 5 minutes

Been in the city and downtown streets lately.....

Found out our Federal Reserve Bank is off limits to photography, I found a cool street shot of the Key Bank Tower, took it. Noticed these weird barriers and garage doors to the left of me along with an reinforced manned guard station. Grab 2 shots of the barriers and was told, no pics of the bank.
