Thinking of copping the canon A1 but not sure about the film and stuff

What do you mean? Get fujifilm from walmart or something, or buy lots off of ebay and amazon.

Get your film developed and scanned to cd, it's a lot cheaper

You can get a film scanner or just go to a department store that develops prints.

You can develop them yourself but youll need to make a dark room.


Film is still better than digital and looks more realistic because of its dynamic range. a 35mm negative is equivalent to a 60 megapixel picture.

thanks i'll look into that. i have to say i like digital but film just looks better plus the process seems good to learn.
