I mean... your photos are straight (as far as framing goes), some are over exposed, but all of them are over processed. If you post the originals, I can show you what I personally would have done with them in Lightroom

:ld:
Well one of the issues was that the pictures were severely backlit, so I had to brighten them considerably in Photoshop. My lady has no idea how to use my camera (me neither really, but I'm learning and know more than her) so all she did was really point and shoot.

Nonetheless, here are three of the originals. I can't find the other one.

Yeah, I can see that the ISO was way too high for these. When I get some time, I'll see what I can do with them. Just a personal tip, the more light you're working with, the lower your ISO should be. So when you're in sunlight, usually the cam's ISO should be on it's lowest setting which is 100. You should seem like the ISO was in the 1000s or higher. You'll get it eventually, I had my camera settings off like a mofo when I went on my honeymoon.

Like I said in a previous post. A big part of taking a good photo is understanding your camera and it's settings first. You have to know how to get the cleanest images from your gear. Post processing can help a ton, but focus on learning how your cam operates is very important when you're starting off.

Sorry for huge photo sizes I didn't expect them to be that big, if it's a problem I'll gladly slim them down.

I have so much work man. My portfolio won best in show at the school I went to.
