I'm a beginner myself, but I would say, just put a meaning behind your shots. You'll start seeing things differently the more you shoot. Also, try to keep your framing on point. Make sure you get what you want to be seen in your pics and leave out what you don't want... it sounds simple, but sometimes after you put your pics on a larger screen you realize that something is in the frame that you rather not be.

My 5d has been repaired ...

the horror stories i been reading online about how they have sent nikkas cameras back unrepaired from water damage had me preparing for the worst..........

make sure you know the basics about exposure or you'll end up thinking you took good shots only to go home and see that they look like shyt
