Let me hit on your 2nd point first, didn't they let Pryor finish out the season? They also released Flynn with only Pryor and McGloin on the active roster to give Pryor his shot. Pryor was terrible vs the Giants who were ranked having one of the worst secondary in the league at that time. Their last win of the 2013 season was provided by McGloin against HOU immediately following that Giant game. He torched HOU and if I were Allen and his staff, I'd be hard pressed not to give McGloin as long of a leash as they gave him. But honestly, AFC West was the toughest division in the AFC based on the fact that 3 of the 4 teams made the playoffs.

Your first point, that's basically a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" for McKenzie and Allen. They're criticized for rushing him, for doing what the fans were screaming for, they can't win. I don't see another team giving Pryor the same chance the Raiders did. If he refuses to consider a position change, he could end up like Tebow.

Them letting him finish the season was just to damage him more. The team already gave up at that point and it was reported weeks before that the team stopped playing. So what was the point of putting in Pryor to "Finish the season"? Just to point the finger and say told you so?? It didn't matter the quarterback we were putting in, the locker room was done with the season and so were the fans.

HOU was McGloins, ONLY win and its against HOU who was 2-14. He didnt torch HOU either, he only had 197 passing yards and 3 drives in that game he couldn't move them from their own 20 yard line. That's not exactly caliber quarterback skills either. They both were only options for the Raiders and the coaching staff worked with what they had. AFC West is toughest how? For the last 10 years there has been no pull ahead winner of the division and each winner was decided in the last few weeks of the season. shyt, we even swept the divisions once and we still didnt make the playoffs

Yeah Pryor was terrible against the Giants but McGloin was terrible against DAL, TEN and KC. It didn't matter though cause when it comes down to it, Pryor won more games then McGloin.

Why should Raider fans be lenient on them when other personnel were only given a year and if they didn't turn it around they were gone. What have McKenzie and Allen done that deserves praise??? They cleared cap room? Who fukkin cares, we have had years where we were under the cap and that didnt mean shyt. How many high profile players we had over the years cause we had the room and they tanked over here. Did we make the playoffs?? Its been 2 years and nothing, Hue did alot in that one year and he got us closer then they did, he may not of been the best but fukk it it had results

I'm sorry they mismanaged the fukk out of Pryor and did him wrong every chance they could. I'm not saying to put there whole future on the guy but admit yeah we fukked up and they will never do that. That's why most of us still bring him up. He has talent, he just needs that extra help and he could be something, but they would rather write him off as Al Davis being out of his mind and he is bad for the whole team, when that's not the case at all. A lot of guys rallied behind him in the locker room and fans, because he gave a fukk and cared when no one else didn't. He earned respect in a dying franchise that Allen and McKenzie have no idea, what this franchise is about. They don't understand the mentality of a Raider.

I'm a raider fan but I'm rooting against the 2014 team so these clowns get fired. It'd be cosmic justice if matt Schaub continues his pick 6 streak. Reggie is a punk gm and Dennis is a snake. They have no loyalty and are 2 of the anti raiders I've ever seen. So fukk the 2014 season and I hope for a 4-12 season so there is no damn way Dennis comes back.

its been more than 10 years we been :to:
nikka fukk outta here with that shyt. i want the fukking playoffs this year or 9 wins at the least
they did pryor wrong possibly, but in the end this is a franchise a business. My loyalty is to the Organization I have to go side with the Raiders organization.
now if we play like shyt then yes those 2 mothafukkas need to leave asap(maybe not reggie unless we get madden to be gm cuz he had an hell of an off season and schaub can still be cut lose next season with no negativity towards our cap and with grooming another qb(which im sure that they will pick later rounds to mold), and even more if Pryor balls on another team.
So now I just wait and hope my fukking team MAKES IT TO THE PLAYOFFS TO ANOTHER SB AGAIN nikka ITS BEEN TOO LONG :damn:

Raiders all day baby.

one last thing is that Pryor asked to be traded. maybe they wanted to see if they could keep him on the roster with mcgloin or not(which im pretty sure he would have beat him in the preseason as well)

3 TD's in 3 drives is efficient no matter who it's up against. NFL Players are professionals, I don't agree with the notion of the team quitting. We'll wait and see what comes of Pryor's chances of being a starting QB anywhere else in the NFL. If no team gives him that chance to be their starting QB, then all of this setting him up to fail talk will be more meaningless then it is now. If he's willing to be 3rd string and take time to develop, maybe... so that'd be no different than his current situation. How is the AFC West not the toughest with the Donkies and Chiefs last season and San Diego upsetting Cincy in Cincy? 3 of the 4 AFC West Teams made it to the 2nd round or better of last year's playoffs.

Comparing the Raiders to other organizations is unfair to the current regime. They inherited a mess. Other regime's who have turned it around immediately at other organizations have had their predecessors be patient, clear cap, accumulate talent and left structure. Hue Jackson gambled these past 2 seasons on Carson Palmer picking up where Jason Campbell left off. People love to credit him with 8-8 and "almost" making the playoffs. The team started off 4-2 and ended 4-6 with his savior Carson. Hue was also to blame that we had Kyle Boller as the backup. Cherry picked by Hue from when he was with BMore as the QB Coach. Other high profile free agents not amounting to shyt here has everything to do with Al Davis going with the big splash to excite the Nation rather than being patient and building through the draft and getting FA's that fit the coach's system. He knew his time was short, so he shorted the long term of of the organization.

Mark Davis, Reggie McKenzie and Dennis Allen all deserve praise because they proceeded an NFL Legend. Somebody who revolutionized the game but did things his way. If anybody was truly setup to fail, it was Mark and any decision he made. They deserve our patience and leniency because nobody with substantial credibility (GM or Coach) will want to work here if we dont give these guys a fair shot and we'll be stuck with a QB Coach turned Head Coach who sees it fit to mortgage the team's future by making the "greatest trade in football" by trading a 1st and 2nd for a retired QB who just wanted out of Cincy.

I feel your anger and frustration, I felt the same way the last 5 years while Davis was alive. Like Quik has said countless times, a lot of us are numb to the pain, and I've endured enough (Marcus Allen in purgatory, Bo Jackson's promising career cut short by Cincy no less, Mike White having a 8-3 LA Raider team only to lose the final 5 games, Callahan sabotaging our team, having to watch the Raiders most success come with cats like Jerry Rice and Romanowski on the squad, the best coach we've had since Madden and Flores being traded away to the Bucs for some cash and the 2 picks that highlighted Nnamdi and Tyler Brayton)

There's light at the end of the tunnel, bruh

They could have brought Andy Reid in here with his Personnel guy instead of McKenzie and he would not have turned it around like he did in KC.

watching the raiders last season and games against the giants, cowboys, jets, k.c. in KANSAS CITY and washington u could not once blame the defense..

matt flynn was trash, pryor was horrible. he would make a 1 st and 10 into a 3rd and 30 with his running backwards especially that giants game.. mcgloin came in and did a decent job but he couldnt make adjustments. but the receivers also was dropping passes on him.

its funny how schaub get hated but last time i check has tony romo done anything and he has weapons?? has andy dalton done anything and he got a killer squad??
