A fleeting childhood
The best are always double covered. He has to learn how to beat this. I can name some WRs who are always double covered and still dominate. Musgrave isn't helping Coop any by putting him in favorable positions to get the ball in space and let him do what he is great at YAC.
Musgrave needs to hop on Madden to understand what a vertical offense looks like

Or go no huddle all game :ahh:

That shyt would be sick. :ahh:

Use a big bruising back and speedy receivers to wear out the defense in the first half with no huddle, then switch to change of pace backs and bigger more physical receiver play in the second half with deliberate play calls and audibles to keep the winded defense off balance and constantly thinking too much. Carr has the intelligence at this point to run a very complex and dynamic offense so if Musgrave can't do that we need to get someone that can.

Who knows? I hope so, cuz together they'd make our defense truly dynamic.

I wanted Steve Smith to mentor Coop after the way Pacman bullied him his rookie year but he retired now. I'd rather not force that on Coop though, we should bring in a guy to create more competition and get Coop more involved. I think part of the problem with us is we don't have enough talent still, our best players are clearly our best players and there's no threat for them to perform at a higher level. Whether we sign Djax or draft a big time playmaker that falls due to "questionable character" it makes no difference as long as we light a fire in this receiving corp.

Agreed depth at every position is key. So many guys on this team are made of glass

Wish Reggie would've gotten back draft picks for all those guys like Reece that we let go. Even late round picks help, I'd want 10 picks at minimum in this draft with all the depth at CB, DE, WR, and RB that there is.

A great OC would call plays to the strength of their players. Musgrave does the opposite. He didn't help Cook at all. Cook should have been allowed to throw the ball down the field early. He lost confidence early and we were done after that.

Yeah Murray can go.. draft his replacement. let Washington or Richard start and have a bruiser come in and get the tough yards.

My problem is that Richard and Washington is basically the same player. If we could get a big bruiser, a great blocking FB to help out and get a few carries here and there, and an all around franchise back we'd be straight and just trade Washington or Richard or move one of them to KR permanently. A balanced RB trio would have us :eat: on offense, big bruiser for short yardage and to beat up the defense, speedy back to catch the defense slipping, and a franchise RB to be our feature go-to guy.

A rushing attack that teams fear and have to plan for would have Carr lookin :whew:

We can learn fron pitt

The got so many offensive weapons

Breh you took the words right from me. Watching Brown and Bell work is fukkin crazy, Ben got so many options in this offense. We gotta give Carr that same type of shyt. We got a guy that has the motivation to be the best in the league so we really shouldn't be the ones to squander that. Miami gotta account for a strong run game and dynamic receivers all over the field, that needs to be us next season.

I can't see Musgrave getting the boot unless his contract is up and they just let him walk. If he gets fired, they still have to pay him and the new coordinator. Not a Musgrave fan, but he was in charge of a top 5-8 offense and i'm not sure if Del Rio, Mckenzie, and Davis are willing to make that move especially when they might have to do the same with KNJ and a replacement defensive coordinator. If both of their contracts are up, then that's a different story.

As far as the RB situation goes, I know i'm in the minority with this one, but I think Richard could be the franchise RB we're looking for. I'd rather take my chances with him as the feature back instead of using a draft pick on one. I wan't all our top draft picks to focus on the defensive side of the ball.

Maybe Musgrave can move to another position like a senior consultant and get another guy to take the playcalling duties. If we can get Wade then we gotta do that. You're right breh, I can live with Musgrave if we can get Wade cuz at least Carr can audible and make a better call on the field.

Richard aight, but I don't see a franchise RB. Great #2 or #3 guy to change the pace but I don't expect him to have the impact of a franchise RB.
