TRAINING CAMP UPDATES vs 49ers:

Move-the-ball session.

Jimmy Garoppolo moved the Raiders to 2 first downs and FG range against the 49ers’ first team defense with completions to WR’s Jakobi Meyers and Hunter Renfrow. Drive ended with a third-down incompletion to Davante Adams on a deeper sideline throw — Adams caught it but couldn’t get two feet down after second review. Still impressive catch and throw.

Jimmy’s quick release beats his old teammates on back to back plays, including jump ball to Davante Adams. Adams catches it over 2 defenders easily.

Davante Adams was able to split two 49ers defenders for a touchdown. Pass thrown by Jimmy. Highlight Play.

Good sign that different DL players are flashing. Rookie Byron Young with a good shed and chase. Tillery has been on it all day.

Raiders’ defensive line tested the 49ers’ offensive line with a bunch of 2-on-2 stunts in drills. Quality stuff across the board — Trent Williams and Aaron Banks held up well on a couple vs Max Crosby’s duo, then Crosby teamed with Jerry Tillery to knock Williams down.

Good back and forth battle between Maxx Crosby and Trent Williams.

Maxx Crosby beats 49ers tackle Colton McKivitz. After the drill Maxx, Trent Williams and McKivits trading tips and info. Cool to see.

Really nice back-to-back Guard Dylan Parham.

Maxx and Chandler both work Spin moves on 49ers linemen.

Raiders Van Roten a bully. Gotta love it. hit 49er DL No. 69 with a throat shot.

Lots of wins for Chandler Jones in the 1-on-1s: Looks quicker, more agile off the line. Beat 49ers tackles with finesse on 3 straight reps

Koonce and Tillery have looked good in these 1 on 1 drills. Rookie Nesta Jade Silvera as well. Powerful. Maxx Crosby calls Nate a “Dog” and says he plays “Violent”

49ers' DL got the best of the #Raiders' OL during 1-on-1 drills as well. Kolton Miller, Andre James and McClendon Curtis held up well, though.

Goal line period QB Brock Purdy Goal thew a slant to Ayiuk but dropped.

CB Duke Shelley picks off Brock Purdy. He had a nice day, been around the ball a lot.

Purdy screen pass to Christian McCaffrey races up the sideline for a would be touchdown. Seems like the Niners best play of the day.

Niners QB Darnold in with the second team for goal line, over throws a wide open receiver in the end zone.

3rd and long to RB Abdullah still money.

Jimmy also orchestrated a nearly flawless 11-on-11 two minute drill down the field against the 49ers 1st team defense. Going 4/4 on final throws to Hooper for 10, Meyers for 10, Renfrow for 15, and finally threading the needle between two Niners defenders to Hooper for a 20-yard diving TD.

Garoppolo hit Jakobi Meyers to convert a fourth down earlier in the drive.

Backup QB Brian Hoyer throws a pick.

Niners QB Trey Lance fumbled 2 snaps. Had a couple nice throws as well. He moved the ball at the end of practice but a lot of Drops from niner receivers.

Mini-scuffle in Barstow...#Raiders Nate Hobbs takes exception to block from #49ers Jauan Jennings and takes a swipe at him. Was broken up quickly.

standouts from Day 1 of joints with 49ers:

-TE Austin Hooper
-WR Jakobi Meyers
-CB Amik Robertson

Rookie QB Aidan O’Connell went 5/7 during 11-on-11 team period vs. the 49ers:

-Completion to Kristian Wilkerson
-Conpletion to Jesper Horsted
-Completion to DeAndre Carter
-Completion to Sincere McCormick x 2

QB Brock Purdy & the 49ers offense did not score on their 2-minute drill.
Neither did QB Trey Lance and the 49ers 2nd team offense.

Amik Robertson ended it for the Niners offense with a PBU in the endzone
Good day overall for Amik…made a couple nice plays.

Niners QB Trey Lance,
-strike over the middle but dropped by the WR.
-Lance deep pass to Rookie WR Gray overthrown looks like gray stopped running.
-Lance throws a heater on a deep curl for a gain.
-Lance a dime in the back of the end zone but WR dropped it.

Raiders first-team defense got a stop to end practice. The Defense showed today what they been showing all Camp.

Both team made some plays but the Raiders won the day over the 49ers.
