Earlier this week, several reports surfaced online noting that NXT Superstar Kacy Catanzarowould be leaving WWE and “retiring” after suffering a back injury.
According to Dave Meltzer, Catanzaro had not yet given her notice to WWE as of September 1st. The idea that she would giving her notice any day now was “likely,” “possibly,” or “probably” going to happen. Also, there is said to be “smoke to the story” and Catanzaro has been talking about leaving the company for awhile now. The deal to depart the company “could be finalized any day now.”
When he was asked if anyone was denying the story, Meltzer said, “Nobody denied the story because essentially the story itself, it’s accurate; the story that she’s likely leaving, but I don’t know that she’s 100 percent made the call.” WWE officials are under the impression that she’s leaving, though.
