I just finished it. I liked the last episode and the end of 12. I still maintain eps 9-11 were filler and that 10 episodes would have been perfect.

From her outburst she kinda did but was disgusted at the fact that she had to face that fact. She was young then and is talking from a whole different perspective now which is why she reacted in that way.Uncle Pete was no angel despite him being the only one to truly ride for Cornel. That's why I really enjoyed this series because they tried to expand the characters and really add dimensions. Same reason I liked Jessica Jones and Daredevil characters are layered.She was yelling she didn't though lol in case I didn't answer your question
