almost done with episode 7
:mjcry: Ruben, he was a weirdo, but i liked him. I knew he fukked once he said he loved Jessica to Killgrave. Also it was nice that we got some comedy with his sister afterwards with Malcolm to make it a bit lighter.

One thing that sorta irked me was when Jessica got let go by the cop how she didn't immediately suspect Killgrave, She suspects He's behind everything, but doesn't in that situation.

edit

episode 8
I knew that old lady wasn't sticking around, but :damn:. Guessing that Bargain Bin Captain America is dead. he looked pretty fukked up.

Just finished watching the first season.....:wow: I honestly didn't know what to expect coming into this as I've read bits and pieces about Jessica Jones character but never got the full gist of her story. I can honestly say I wasn't expecting it to be this dark and sinister. I think this is the first Marvel production that didn't feel like Marvel at all. Just a lot of darkness surrounding this, you wonder if they'll ever reach the light or if there was a light at all. Each episode brought in more darkness and twisted philosophy that you couldn't help but watch the train wreck the characters were going through.

The acting on here was top notch as well. You could really feel the emotion pouring out of the characters as each one was trying to find their place in the world. I want to go into more detail but I have to let this digest in my mind a bit.:wow: I didn't imagine a series that could've been as dark as DareDevil. This far exceeded that which made the show amazing to watch. I can't wait till things really start to merge into Hell's Kitchen.:wow:

HOUS-e-
I dunno why people STILL harping on that not yet the KINGPIN?? He was that precisely.

I could understood if it was someone like Nuke Simpson who we witness becoming a super villain and strongly implied him as the next main antagonist, but Fisk had KINGPIN status already. What was missing? Is it to excuse the fact he lost everything in the end and in jail?
my opinion Fisk didn't become Kingpin until the last episode where his militia rescued him from that bridge and he was giving out orders that was very "Kingpin" like

Another real solid Netflix series

Luke & Jessica were good portrayals and had good chemistry together, while Kilgrave was a b*stard of a villain

I'd be fine if I never saw Simpson again. Not sure what shows/movies the actor's done, but I wasn't feeling him in this at all

Hopefully Patsy kicks a little more ass in the future. Needs to work on that accent slipping through though haha

Wished they would have tied into the DD universe a little bit more, with at least a few references to some things. Hell's Kitchen can't be that big.

And :heh:to whoever said that Jessica's as strong as a "really strong guy"

I have only watched the first 8 epsiodes I been writing my thoughts on facebook

I hope the boss divorce plays some bigger part of the story cause right now it feels like it was added in to add running time to the show ...

- So I watched the first four episodes of Jessica Jones I'm not blown away with it the way I was with daredevil, the protagonist is hard to sympathize with, and the actress might be out of her weight class, . the only thing that's going to saving grace so far as all the supporting characters are really well written and feel like 1990's New York in a lot of ways.

-So the second half of Jessica Jones really picks up I've seen the first 9 episodes, Kilgrave is a very interesting villain, and the way he attends to psychological torture Jesse Jones. An interesting manner and not overly exploitive; also the fact that the heroine has some fault in her guilt over the dead parent trope is nice.

Kilgrave might be the best villain Marvel ever produced a man with great power that use it to be so petty and vindictive ... the way he tortures Jessica is superb and creative (still think Jessica herself was miscast)

I like Luck Cage its a good modern realistic take on that character very post 2000 version of that character

one of the flaws of the show is that Jessica not that likable

her and Luke cage have good chemistry tho

the guy did something horrible to her but if you don't care about the character

hard to root for her
