Just finished the binge now...

Possible spoilers ahead....

The show was :banderas:

It was basically Daredevil with less action and a lil bit more crazy, fukked up shyt.. And that was mainly all Kilgrave.

I wouldn't say Kilgrave is the best villain by far but he is probably the most terrifying one... Great character. Probably slightly better than Kingpin. I hate to compare shows but these two are so close in being great shows.

Only complaint I possibly have is that they didn't link more of the MCU together. To say they share Hells Kitchen, you should've heard a lot more about Kingpin, DD, Avengers, etc. it was like this show was trying to completely separate it's super hero side at times for the acting and story... Which isn't completely a bad thing. They just needed to reference the MCU shyt more.

I'm actually not mad at the fight scenes either. These are steet level superheroes that didn't train in martial arts and shyt. They are just extremely strong and durable bar room fighters if anything. That's all I expected. Daredevil actually trained and was trained so I only expect him and Iron Fist to actually know how to really fight.

Luke and JJ don't really need the training to be effective.

Luke was also excellently portrayed. I'm surprised they showed them fukking the shyt out of each other multiple times.

Show was great. Just as good if not better than DareDevil.

Now that I think about it, I think I know why they barely referenced the MCU of barely connected the shows in the beginning.

I figure they were trying to get more people interested and involved without making it feel like a typical superhero tv show... And they did that. But I feel season 1 was just to get people more into the universe while season 2 and forward will probably tie in all the superhero shyt later.

But this was dope. I read comic books as a kid but I didn't read any/everything. I feel like these Netflix shows are just like watching the comics in reality. Marvel is doing a good job with this so far

I'm at the finale but don't get me wrong, the show is pretty good. I guess i just have a problem with the Marvel having their TV and movies co exist because its leading to a lot of inconsistent shyt. For example at the end of Antman we find out that Peter is already Spiderman in NYC. If that's the case how come no one mentions him in JJ or why don't we see other people with abilities if there's 99 ppl with powers just in Hell's Kitchen alone. Hell's Kitchen is like 25 blocks but everyone outside of JJ and LC aren't putting their powers on display? BS :beli:

:heh: she was lying, dawg

How on earth they gonna bring Iron Fist into this universe. May seem outta place. Dragons and that lol

His background is already halfway introduced.

The old chinese lady drug dealer in Daredevil, her heroin had the tattoo/stamp of Iron Fist's main bad guy Steel Serpent, who lives in K'un Lun.

Which means Danny/Iron Fist is still stuck in K'un Lun and not on Earth running Rand Industries.

I watched the first two episodes and I don't think i'll finish the series. I was falling asleep. Why they got some meth head looking chick starring as Jessica Jones:scust:. The guy playing Luke Cage doesn't really feel like the Cage from the comics. So far DC continues to dominate tv while Marvel dominates film at least until Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad release next year.
