Cotdamn it man, ep 13 was a chore to get through. Felt as tedious as ep1.

Harold vs Danny is the big boss fight? :upsetfavre:

And at one point in the fight they literally had Danny get the drop on Harold, knock him down... and then Danny runs away to hide some more so ol boy can finish his lil monologue? :comeon:

But before all that, @Ironman @Ziggiy @Bigbigguy @Rastafarian42 @nieman @Dillah810 help me out my comic gs, because for some reason I thought a certain someone was going to be in this series? :patrice:

Shang-Chi my dude? :mindblown:

Did I just miss the cameo? No way was he supposed to be the drunken master guy? Or was it all just rumor and speculation that he would be in this?? I actually thought when Colleen's sensei saved him they were takin em to Shang Chi's refuge to open the plot up /add more mysticism / somethin. not just some Hand plot-spin.

That's what made ep13 even more deflating to me, when i realized how they were wrapping things up.

Overall, for me, everything in-between eps 1 and 12 was largely meh... not terrible and there was even some dynamics of the family that i liked, but i feel similar as what some of yall said.. too much corporate family stuff, not enough mysticism / kung-fu.

And i'm not going to pile on the Danny/Finn thing much but i will say that
i was never more aggravated with any of the MCU Netflix shows as I was in ep12 seeing all them little tropes play out accentuated by some wooden ass acting. Part of it was Finn but to be fair, the material given to him, his buddy and Colleen was just bad, regardless of who had to act it out.
The fight scenes... well, they should've just had him bulk up for the role then given him the wave cap bandana thing that DD had so that a stunt double could just do all the heavy lifting, but yea that would've required changing the plot to make that make sense i suppose... but i feel they should've changed the plot/direction anyway... so whatever

In what ways is this better than Jessica Jones?
There's nothing about IF that's better than JJ. shyt, the Purple Man alone >>>>>>>>> Iron Fist season 1

By episode 8 or 9, I was like goddamn why isn't this over yet. :flobbe:

Then I saw the showrunner was the guy who did the horrible Dexter seasons...:sayword: It all made sense then.

This whole i change my mind i'm not gonna kill the villain shyt is getting real old.

It got real tired for me during Daredevil S2. That's why...

I loved Jessica Jones saying "fukk it" and snapping Kilgrave's neck. It just made everything so much easier.
