Up to Ep 9.

Initial thoughts...

The pacing isn't as bad as I thought. The plot is way too CW' ish.

The fight choreography is terrible for this show (aside from a couple of colleen scenes). After DD I dunno how they could mess this up. Also, looks like they really skimped on the budget for this.

I liked the Meachums, even though it was "typical ruthless corporate plot" stuff.

Finn Jones is just:francis:

I'm on episode 10 now. I'll drop more detailed thoughts later but all I wanted to say is....

If you get a role as an older black man in one of these Marvel NETFLIX series then don't make plans to make it into Season 2. :sadcam:

Ben in DareDevil :to:

Detective Clemons In Jessica Jones :martin:

'Pops' in Luke Cage :mjcry:

And now Wilkins in Iron Fist :francis:

I finally watched the last episode last night the hell was that?:gucci:
Joy suddenly wants to kill Danny out the blue?:dwillhuh:Kun Lun is apparently gone and did he really bring Coleen with him?:dwillhuh: The hell was the point in this season? The father will obviously come back, Claire mentioning other people with abilities that she knew personally was straight up ignored the whole season :gucci:What the hell was actually accomplished this season because everyone from Harold, that Hand dude that taught Iron Fist more about his powers then 15 years training (:martin:) Davos will clearly become the Steel Serpent somehow and has been obviously jealous :beli::skip::snoop::ufdup::camby:

Man I'm with you.

Joy being down to kill Danny so quickly just seemed forced, they could have done a much better job setting up the grudge. Kinda funny that Ward is now cool with Danny now though.

I was a little ticked we never really got to see K'un-Lun in all its glory, how the fukk you transport a whole city? :dwillhuh:

Yeah they just glossed over the fact there are other guys out there that could help, you can see why it was done but still.

And true that you can see where they're going with Davos.

Cause this shyt is poorly written, boring, the actor for Danny isn't convincing as the greatest martial artist in Marvel, and nothing has been accomplished plot wise. To each his own though :manny:

And because corporate intrigue and board meetings should not be a focal point of a show about a world class martial artist

True that, the Star Wars prequels suffered from the same thing.

Too much crappy politics, they were really out here on some "oh no we've been fired form the board" shyt :stopitslime:

And it all seemed pretty pointless since Danny doesn't even have a high school education and didn't give a shyt about being a businessman anyway.
