Everyone did. I know I'm a bit in the minority. I mean I liked it but like @TheGodling stated it had too much filler. Could have been at least 4 eps shorter in my book.
I just thought it was overrated with how all the critics were like "marvel finally has a good show!" when I thought Daredevil was better

I thought everyone knew DD season 1 was the best of the netflix shows. I never even knew there was a debate there.

You have to understand that Hollywood have been doing this since the beginning and people are getting tired of it. Think Tom Cruise as the Last Samurai
Iron Fist is billed as the greatest living martial artist in the world with some Asian cast members as sidekicks, shyt is insulting to say the least

They made an Iron Fist series because they've always favored him over Shang Chi... with or without Luke Cage.You all know why they made an Iron Fist series and not a Shang Chi series. Because Iron Fist has always been linked to Luke Cage in the comics. It's that simple.
If it was simply about Luke, they'd have just included Danny in season 2 of Cage, just like they did with Punisher in s2 of Daredevil, and then spun it off if the character was well received.
The obvious reason they didn't make a Shang Chi series is because nobody gives a crap about him like that, whereas Danny is a character, like Hawkeye, that Marvel still applies the occasional jumper cables to kickstart, in hopes that he'll catch on as a steady property.
