Some of these characters might be played out by then. If The Defenders ain't all that then might have to start over from stretch. You can't turn every B level superhero into a franchise. They were on to something with the first season of Daredevil but now these Netflix/Marvel shows are mostly 50% filler episodes

It worked for the avengers.... :coffee:

But thats the thing though.... you really dont know. I bet you if 10 years ago yet alone 5, if someone asked peeps if they wanna see a comic book movie with a talking Rac00n and talking tree that only says one thing. Peeps wouldve screamed HELL NO emphatically and laughed/trolled the shyt out of you!:mjlol:

And in regards to franchise. These cats werent even B level superheroes, at best they were D and C level hereos and if they get upgraded to B or youre acknowledging they are B level now, well then hell they already won HALF THE BATTLE!:ehh:

I feel you but you have a better chance at striking gold on a two hour movie than a series with 13 episodes to keep people's attention and coming back for more. Jessica Jones and Luke Cage should've been 8 episodes tops.. maybe 6

Yeah The Avengers is a team up 2 hour movie. Not say a "Hawkeye series" that's stretched out over 13 hour long episodes which is a lot harder to pull off

I would have loved a hawkeye series... IF it was done right. :yeshrug: alot of comic book characters deserve more than just a 2 hour movie...

I disagree with that shorter dont make shows better. Hell if GOT was cut to 6-8 eps I dont think it would be better than what it is.

If the show ended after the 1st villain died, I think it would've left more to be desired. I liked the second how with the new villain and how the pace changed.

I liked the whole show overall as it is and already think 13 eps is pretty short... especially when most other shows are doing 24-32 eps a season And they dropping EVERY YEAR

At worse these Netflix shows will be every 24-36 months..... 6-8 eps every 24-36 months is too short to too long of a wait (JJ dropped in 2016 and probably wont be back till 2019)

Sadly, I have to agree with you on that. :wow:

I think they're definitely gonna merge some of these shows. Daredevil will prob stick around, Jessica Jones maybe since that's a different tone and they can go in different directions with the PI ish, but Iron Fist definitely gonna latch on to another...prob Luke Cage. Punisher prob gets 1 season. The Defenders leads into Heroes for Hire starring the rest.

Interesting that they haven't released info on the next hero, so they'll prob just stick with these for a while.

Spot on. Merging these shows is the only real logical step they can take without fatiguing fans with these half baked story lines and filler episodes. I would assume Luke and Iron Fist team up with Jessica Jones in the mix giving she eventually settles down with Luke after getting pregnant by him? What do you think?

A TV series based off Matt Fraction's hawkeye run would be pure crack.

You'd have the street level action

You'd have the everyday ground level down on his luck shyt that TV audiences loves

Kate Bishop, which in itself can branch out to "Young Avengers"

And finally, thanks to Clint's collection of exes, it can connect all the Marvel Movies/Shows together.

Plus they can snag some awards with the "Arrow Dog" episode.

can't believe they're even complaining about white-washing whites now.

i'm holding off passing judgement, but this show already feels like a chore. actually, these Marvel netflix shows all feel like that. they aren't exactly binge crack" like other shows, but i force myself to binge them over a few days b/c i'm a completionist.

Is iron fist Asian or white in the comics? Never followed

White in the comics. Luke Cage was created out of the grindhouse black exploitation in the 70s, Iron Fist was Marvel's attempt at capturing the Bruce Lee hype at the time. Why they didn't make him Asian, well you have to ask Stan Lee that question.

You have to understand that Hollywood have been doing this since the beginning and people are getting tired of it. Think Tom Cruise as the Last Samurai :mjlol:

Iron Fist is billed as the greatest living martial artist in the world with some Asian cast members as sidekicks, shyt is insulting to say the least :wow:
