I know there was some criticism of Kristen Ritter just because they also released the actresses that got passed over for the role of Jessica Jones and most of them were way hotter than Ritter but no one shyt on her acting abilities.
I watched Finn Jones be bland as tap water on Game of Thrones so its not like I am just shytting on him sight unseen.

I actually think Luke and misty look the best together.
That's hasnt stopped Marvel from changing a character's race before. Remember the Ancient One from Dr. Strange? Marvel has no problem making an Asian character a CAC, but when ppl suggest making a culture appropriate character an Asian or at least half Asian its asking for too much and going against the source material
Also I didn't know they didn't do a test read to see if him and Colter had chemistry like they did Colter and Ritter. That seems kind of concerning, cause I can't imagine those 2 as a Hero 4 Hire duo.
Also Misty as confirmed for this series and I think Claire as well. But it looks like Rand will end up with Colleen cause the Cac they got playing Rand I couldn't see with Simmone Missick
Truth! Also as much as Hollywood has a fetish for pairing black women with white men. They have an even bigger fetish with pairing Asian women with white men.
I wouldn't doubt they have iron fist messing with both misty and Colleen.
Trailer was ok but looked a lot more grounded than I expected. I checked a few comments and already saw a few"This looks better than Luke Cage " and I saw someone on ign with a "this looks good Luke Cage sucked"
I admit I'm feeling salty about the mixed/racist reviews Luke got so I'm not as excited as I was before

Sounds like that Netflix budget strikes again, ol boy was saying how Iron Fist uses his actual "Iron Fist" power sparingly in the series. Sounds like a reasonable explanation for them to hold back on showing Rand use his abilities and for Netflix to be easy on the budget just like the with the other Netflix Marvel series.
nikka type this over so i know if i need to be upset or notI'm just trolling but tbh they did touch on the whole Jessica and Luke narratve, he turns fukk Claire temple kinda confused it now, so there's a chance they keep the continuity with this relationship too who knows
