I definitely don't think it was perfect but I believe it's been getting judged way more harshly then Marvel things usually get judged. Blatant racism all over with twitter let me know all I needed to know. They're loving Iron Fist though and zero complaints a white man leading despite them not knowing the background of the character. They didn't know Luke Cage’s backstory yet that's "too black"

the argument that LC is "too black" is one of the most ridiculous, -things i've heard all year. i get angry, dont get me wrong. part of me feels like gentrification done took over harlem and now everyone wants to act like white ppl have always been there. even tho they still won't venture past 140th and lenox. shyt, i remember when "uptown" to some folk mean "upper-east side/below the 82nd street stop" or "i attend columbia". but now LC is "too black".

I know he's white in the comic but it would've been nice for them to make him Asian in this one is all I'm saying. Still not feeling Ser Loras playing the role. He looks like a surfer in this but I can't lie this looked kind of dope.

Netflix hasn't let me down yet though so I'm sure they'll come through with the series overall.

That's hasnt stopped Marvel from changing a character's race before. Remember the Ancient One from Dr. Strange? Marvel has no problem making an Asian character a CAC, but when ppl suggest making a culture appropriate character an Asian or at least half Asian its asking for too much and going against the source material

Also I didn't know they didn't do a test read to see if him and Colter had chemistry like they did Colter and Ritter. That seems kind of concerning, cause I can't imagine those 2 as a Hero 4 Hire duo.

Also Misty as confirmed for this series and I think Claire as well. But it looks like Rand will end up with Colleen cause the Cac they got playing Rand I couldn't see with Simmone Missick

They made a bad choice casting Finn Jones as Iron Fist. Dude is the blandest human being on the planet.
They would have done better casting the guy from Banshee, Tom Pelphry, that is playing one of the bad guys in the show as Danny Rand instead. At least Pelphrey has some natural charisma and isn't a talking piece of lumber.
