Nah you can't stay in front of the ai and on offense you can't beat them off the dribble or on a fastbreak.

Nah you can, you just need the right badges and dribble moves. Likewise you need the right badges and defense stats like strength and lateral quickness and perimeter defense.

I been playing MyLeague all year but just hopped back on Play Now Online after not touching that mode for 4 months and I been beating folks asses. I see they decided to do away with injuries and just let us play with regular injury free rosters.
